Single stage Ariel JGJ/2 gas compressor driven by a CAT 3408TA engine, was constructed for manual operation only. Air cooled heat exchanger has been electric motor driven with the possibility of fan speed adjustment through the supplied VFD.

Because of low ambient temperatures Hot Starts have been considered for engine and compressor oil systems and also the engine fuel had to be heated before reaching the engine with an Artic Fox gas heater.
